Appearance[]

Danger Zone's main color is green. He has targets on either side of his head, green eyes and black marks. He has finish flags behind him, as well as metal and screws. His final feature is the rockets behind his arms and legs. His nickname matches his attributes as well as giving him some details that he is an old fighter.

Trivia[]

  • Danger Zone is one of the most aggressive fighters in Real Steel (iOS game).
  • Spitfire (his original moniker) was renamed to "Danger Zone" when he was added to Real Steel iOS, and kept this name for his Real Steel WRB iteration as well. This name is not canon since Danger Zone and Spitfire are two distinct robots, although the former never appears nor is named in the movie, only being cited in a picture showcasing all the fights that canonically occurred off and on screen during the Real Steel timeline.
  • He was last referred to as "Spitfire" in the now-defunct WRB.com online game. With the game being shut down and the only piece of media confirming Spitfire's actual name being the aforementioned picture, it's easier to find Real Steel fans that refer to him as "Danger Zone".
  • Danger Zone's alias "The World War 2 Fighter" may be because he is based of a World War 2 war plane.
  • Danger Zone is a fighter from Underworld I in the WRB game, despite being a League bot (as depicted in the film.)
  • Danger Zone is one of the only bots that can rip both Atom's and Zeus' heads off.
  • Danger Zone's design seem to be based of the Morane-Saulnier M.S.406,  a French fighter aircraft that was used in World War 2.
  • Danger Zone's green color scheme, as well as his resemblance to an air vehicle, makes him look similar to the Transformers Autobot Springer.
  • In the game, Danger Zone's glass body parts glow
  • Danger Zone's design in the original concept art had wings on the sides of his arms, a different head, and more white on his body. Which made him look more like the fighter jet he was based on.
  • His record is 12-7
